You can see the preview of the file that you want to repair in the software window but can’t actually repair the files. To see the preview you need to follow the below steps :

Go to File-> Add File to Tree View.
Double Click on the file to see the preview of the file (shown in the left hand panel of the software).

If you are able to see the preview of the file in the software window then there is a good chance of recovery. If the file is severely corrupted then you can see the Raw Text under the Raw Text Tab (shown in the right hand panel of the software).

Can I use Microsoft Excel while software is running ?

No, please make sure that Microsoft Excel should not be running while the software is scanning the corrupted file.

How can I repair all of my Excel files present on one logical drive ?

Please follow the below procedure :

Open ‘Stellar Phoenix Excel Recovery’.
Click on ‘File’ menu and select ‘Select Drive’.
Now, select the drive where the Excel files are situated and click on ‘OK’.
Software will prompt you the number of Excel files found. Click ‘OK’.
Now, select the first check box listed on the left hand side of the software and click on ‘Play’ listed on the top which will ask for the destination folder where you need to select the default folder or a new folder to save the output file.
