• a)Open the Stellar Phoenix Macintosh Data Recovery software.
• Select “Create Image” icon after opening the software.
• Select the Physical disk/Logical volume whose image has to be created.
• Click Select Region to select range of media to create image for a specified region (Please make sure that do not create\save the image of the drive on the same drive from which you want to recover the data).
• Click Continue button to start scan process.
• Software will scan sectors to create image of the media.

Once the image file is created, you can recover the data from that image file created.

How do I recover data from an inaccessible drive of Macintosh ?

Please follow either one of the procedure mentioned below:

 

1. Insert Stellar Phoenix Macintosh Boot DVD in DVD drive and restart your computer.

 

Press ‘C’ key till the time your system doesn’t boot from DVD

 

The License Agreement screen of the software will appear. Click ‘I Agree’ button and you will get into Recovery Options screen of the software.
