to automate the data backup process (It is possible
for a user to ‘schedule’ the frequency of
automatically creating backups – daily, weekly,
monthly, and so on)

/ Disk’s, LAN’s, Remote FTP Servers (remote /
online backup), DVD / CD-RW devices and Pen
Drives.

Two different modes of backing up –
Full (in
which all data / files are backed up afresh during the
rerun of a particular Backup Task) and
Incremental
(in which only modified files are backed up during the
rerun of a particular Backup Task).

(to make backups secure) and Zip

(to make backups compact and less space-consuming).

Facility to create and save unique
‘Backup Tasks’
in which specific sets of files can be grouped
together and get backed up periodically, as per the
Scheduler.

(to include/exclude specific files in a data backup
process), Confirmation e-mails after backup jobs,
Pre/Post Backup Task Programs (to automatically run
any program before and/or after a backup process), and
so on.
