How does ‘Quick Scan’ differ from ‘Deep Scan’?

 Modified on: October 31, 2018 |    13350 views

‘Quick Scan' performs a quick scan on the selected existing volumes, lost volumes, and on removable media. You can select only one volume at a time for the normal scan. This scan method is fast and efficient. You will find almost all data by performing a normal scanning on selected volume or removable media.

'Deep Scan' thoroughly scans your entire drive to carry out a precise recovery of all recoverable data. This option proves to be worthwhile when the results obtained by 'Normal Scan' are average or unsatisfactory. You will view this deep scanning option once the normal scan process completes. If you don’t find your data with normal scanning, then you can directly switch to “deep scan” mode.
