In addition, Office 365 comes with Microsoft 365 subscription service and offers enhanced privacy and security features.<\/p><p>Due to these and other useful features, users are migrating from desktop-based email clients, like Apple Mail, to Office 365. However, to migrate Apple Mail mailbox items to Office 365 isn&rsquo;t simple as both platforms use different file formats to store the mailbox data. Below, we will mention different methods to migrate or move Apple Mail data to Office 365.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-migrate-apple-mail-to-office-365?\"><strong>How to Migrate Apple Mail to Office 365?<\/strong><\/h2><p>You can move Apple Mail mailbox data to Office 365 using <strong>IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) <\/strong>configuration or using an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stellarinfo.com\/email-tools\/mbox-to-pst-converter.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MBOX to PST converter tool<\/a>. Here&rsquo;s how:<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Move Apple Mail Data using IMAP Configuration<\/strong><\/h3><p>You can manually migrate Apple Mail mailbox data to Office 365 using IMAP configuration. For this, you need to have a Gmail account. Below is the step-by-step process:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open your<strong> Apple Mail<\/strong> and configure your <strong>Gmail account<\/strong> using <strong>IMAP settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Within the Apple Mail, create a <strong>new folder<\/strong> in the configured Gmail account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now, select the emails that you want to transfer to Office 365 and move them to the new folder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launch <strong>Office 365<\/strong> and configure the same Gmail account, using the <strong>IMAP settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the configuration is completed, you can check the <strong>new folder<\/strong> created in your <strong>Gmail account<\/strong> for Mac Mail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the <strong>(new) folder<\/strong> and select the <strong>files.<\/strong> Then, move them to <strong>Office 365 folder<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When the move is completed, you can <strong>delete<\/strong> the Gmail account from both the platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul><p><strong>Limitations of the Above Manual Method<\/strong><\/p><p>Though the above manual method enables you to migrate Apple Mail data to Office 365, it has certain limitations.
