Click <strong>Select File<\/strong> to choose the backup file you want to repair.<br><\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"788\" height=\"516\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stellarinfo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Browse-Copy.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-111206 apply-gradient-on-post-images\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stellarinfo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Browse-Copy.png 788w, https:\/\/www.stellarinfo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Browse-Copy-300x196.png 300w, https:\/\/www.stellarinfo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Browse-Copy-768x503.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 788px) 100vw, 788px\" \/><\/figure><blockquote class=\"note_alert\">\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> Click &lsquo;Search in Folder&rsquo; if you are not aware of the file location.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote><p><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> Once you have selected the .bak file, click <strong>Scan<\/strong> to initiate the scanning process.<\/p><p><strong>Step 5:<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Select BackupSet<\/strong>&nbsp;dialog box appears with details of all the backups taken in different&nbsp;backup modes.<\/p><p><strong>Step 6:<\/strong> Select the .bak file you need to recover from the <strong>Backup Type<\/strong> list, and then click <strong>Next <\/strong>to begin the scanning process.<\/p><blockquote class=\"note_alert\">\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> In case the selected Backup is located in multiple files, a window showing the same is displayed. Click &lsquo;Add&rsquo; to select multiple file locations.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote><p><strong>Step 7: <\/strong>After completion of the database scan, a window appears displaying the number of total records available in the backup file as&nbsp;Logs.<\/p><blockquote class=\"note_alert\">\n<p><strong>NOTE: <\/strong>The scanning process can take time. To stop the process, click &lsquo;Skip this step&rsquo;.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote><p><strong>Step 8:<\/strong> The software displays a preview of the number of database records.<\/p><p><strong>Step 9:<\/strong> To save the recovered file, click <strong>Save <\/strong>on <strong>File<\/strong> menu.<\/p><p><strong>Step 10:<\/strong> In the window that appears, select <strong>MSSQL<\/strong> under <strong>Save As<\/strong> section, and then choose <strong>Browse<\/strong> to select the destination to save the recovered file. Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>Step 11:<\/strong> Select <strong>New Database<\/strong> or <strong>Live Database<\/strong> under <strong>Saving Option<\/strong>.
