Time Machineとは？<\/strong><\/h4>

Time Machineは、macOSに内蔵されているバックアップソフトです。システム全体のバックアップを簡単に作成でき、しかもそれを自動で行ってくれるという優れものです。<\/p>

Time Machineを設定する<\/strong><\/h4>

バックアップに使用するTime Machineを設定します。Time Machineを設定するにはまず、システム環境設定を開きます。<\/p>

システム環境設定を開いたら、「Time Machine」をクリックします。<\/p>

Time Machine設定が開いたら、「バックアップディスクを選択…」をクリックします。この時、バックアップを保存する外部ディスク、または保存先のディスクが接続されたサーバー（Time CapsuleやTime Machineのバックアップ先として設定したMacなど）をMacに接続しておいてください。<\/p>

ディスク選択画面から、バックアップを保存するディスクを選択し、「ディスクを使用」をクリックします。今回は、「Server Backup 4TB」という名前のディスクを使用しました。<\/p>

左側の「バックアップを自動作成」にチェックが入っていることを確認します。<\/p>

これで、Time Machineの設定は完了です。今後は自動でバックアップが作成されます。今すぐバックアップを作成したい場合はメニューバーからおこないます。<\/p>

データが消えちゃった！そんな時は・・・<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>

Time Machine<\/strong>から消えたデータを復元する<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>

先ほど設定したTime Machineからデータを復元するには、メニューバーに表示されているTime Machineアイコンから、「Time Machineに入る」をクリックして復元したいデータを選択し、復元できます。<\/p>

アイコンが表示されていない場合はTime Machine設定から「Time Machineをメニューバーに表示」にチェックを入れます。<\/p>

Time MachineからmacOSを復元する<\/strong><\/h2>

macOSが正常に起動しない場合やOSをクリーンインストールした時、新しいMacにデータを移行したい時などに、Time MachineバックアップからmacOSを復元する方法を紹介します。一つ前のOSのバックアップがあれば、そのバージョンに戻せる場合もあります。<\/p>

macOSが正常に起動しない場合は、コマンドキーとRキーを押しながら起動し、リカバリーモードにします。macOSユーティリティが起動したら、「Time Machineから復元」をクリックし、画面の指示に従い復元を開始します。<\/p>

クリーンインストール後やデータ移行をする場合は、データ移行の画面になるまで初期設定を進めた後、「Time Machineバックアップから復元」を選択し、画面の指示に従い復元を開始します。<\/p>

Time Machine<\/strong>を使わずにデータを復元する<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>

Time Machineからの復元に失敗した場合や、上記のバックアップ設定を行う前にデータを消してしまった場合はTime Machineからは復元できないので、この場合はデータ回復ソフトを使用します。データ回復ソフトには様々な種類がありますが、今回は、Stellar Data Recovery Free Edition For Mac<\/a>を使用します。<\/p>

ソフトを起動したら、回復したいファイルの種類にチェックを入れ、「Next」をクリックします。<\/p>

ディスク選択画面になるので回復したいデータが入っているディスクを選択し、「Scan」をクリックします。<\/p>

スキャンが始まるのでしばらく待ちます。容量によっては数時間かかる場合もあります。<\/p>

スキャン後、回復したいファイルを探して、「Recover」をクリックし、保存先を指定します。保存先はスキャンしたディスクとは違う場所にしか保存できないので注意してください。<\/p>
