Select the file.<\/p>\n<p>Choose <strong>Do not import duplicate items<\/strong> under the <strong>Options<\/strong> section, and then click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><em>Note: <\/em><\/strong><em>You can choose to move duplicate contacts to Outlook, by clicking the <strong>&lsquo;Allow duplicates to be created&rsquo;<\/strong> option from the <strong>Options<\/strong> field.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>From the <strong>&lsquo;Select destination folder&rsquo;<\/strong> dialog box, select a folder under <strong>Contacts<\/strong> and then select <strong>Next<\/strong>.<br>\n<figure style=\"width: 442px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"apply-gradient-on-post-images\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stellarinfo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/save-exported-file.jpg\" alt=\"Stellar\" width=\"442\" height=\"334\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Figure 5 &ndash; Outlook Import a File Options<\/figcaption><\/figure><p><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>In the window that appears, select <strong>Map Custom Fields<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><em>Note: <\/em><\/strong><em>You will need to map contact fields to match the source file (.csv) columns with target (Outlook) fields. To view the contacts, open your Outlook account and click <strong style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Contacts<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Drawbacks of Manual Method<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p><p>While manual methods are free of cost and do import all contacts from Notes to Outlook, they have certain limitations:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It is lengthy and time-consuming.<\/li><li>No option to search for an NSF file.<\/li><li>It does not support multiple file formats.<\/li><li>It cannot import all the information saved for each contact in Lotus Notes.
