3.3.1. Exploring Ribbons and Buttons

This section provides an in-depth exploration of the software's interface elements, including Ribbons and buttons, along with explanations of their functionalities.

Ribbons

Home Ribbon:

• Initially, when no connections are added, the Home Ribbon displays a simple layout. From this screen, users can add new remote connections to initiate various functionalities.

• Once a connection is established, the Home Ribbon transforms to include four options: Imaging Drive, File Transfer, and Terminal View.  Users can select the desired function on the remote system from this interface.

Tools Ribbon 

Under the Tools Ribbon, users are provided with 2 options:

• Open Log: This option allows users to access the latest log report, providing detailed updates on the activities performed on the remote system by Stellar Remote Forensic Imaging. Users can review this log to track the progress of tasks and monitor system activity effectively.

• Save Log: With this option, users can create a local copy of the log report on their system. By saving the log locally, users can archive important activity records for future reference or analysis, ensuring easy management and accountability.

Help Ribbon

Under the Help Ribbon, users have access to two options:

• Help Topics: This button provides access to the online help manual for the software, offering detailed guidance and troubleshooting tips.

• Support: In case you don't find any related content in the help document or on the knowledgebase page that resolves your query, use this option to view the support page of stellarinfo.com and contact the Stellar customer support.

• Knowledgebase: Frequently asked questions and other common queries are available as knowledgebase for your reference and to help you use the software to get the best outcome. Use this option to visit Knowledgebase articles of stellarinfo.com

• About: This button opens the About page, where various technical specifications and information about the software are listed.

Buy Now Ribbon

The Buy Now ribbon contains the following button:

• Buy Online: Use this option to buy Stellar Remote Forensic Imaging software.

Activation Ribbon:
