4.1.3. Account Status Reports

These reports provide status information of mailboxes on an Exchange Server.

Account Status Reports include the following:

• Recently Created Mailboxes
• Inactive Mailboxes by Last Logon Time
• Orphaned Mailboxes
• Expired Mailbox Accounts
• Soon to Expire Mailbox Accounts

 

1. Recently Created Mailboxes

This report shows the newly created mailboxes with Mailbox Name, Email and date when the mailbox was created. Mailboxes created within the given number of days are displayed in this report.

To view Recently Created Mailboxes report:

• From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Mailbox.

• Under Account Status Reports, click on Recently Created Mailboxes.

• Under Filter, in the No. of days field, enter the number of days and click Go.

• If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list.

 

2. Inactive Mailboxes by Last Logon Time

This report shows all the inactive mailboxes with their last logon time including the Mailbox Name, Email, Mailbox Store Name, Alias Name, Canonical Name and Legacy Exchange DN. This report displays all the mailboxes which have been inactive within the given number of days.  

To view Inactive Mailboxes by Last Logon Time report:

• From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Mailbox.

• Under Account Status Reports, click on Inactive Mailboxes by Last Logon Time.

• Under Filter, in the No. of days field, enter the number of days and click Go.

• If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list.

 

3. Orphaned Mailboxes

In case of deletion of a user from the current database or Exchange server, one or more mailboxes are left as orphaned. Orphaned Mailboxes report displays such mailboxes with Mailbox Name, Email, Last Logon Time and Canonical Name.

To view Orphaned Mailboxes report:

• From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Mailbox.

• Under Account Status Reports, click on Orphaned Mailboxes.

• If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list.

 

4. Expired Mailbox Accounts

This report displays all the mailboxes of the expired accounts during the selected period. The report displays Mailbox Name, Email and Expiration Time.

To view Expired Mailbox Accounts report:

• From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Mailbox.

• Under Account Status Reports, click on Expired Mailbox Accounts.

• Under Filter, from Period drop down options, select the time period and click Go.

• If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list.

 

5. Soon to Expire Mailbox Accounts

This report shows mailboxes of accounts that are soon to expire. Mailboxes of accounts that will be expired within the given no of days are displayed in this report.

To view Soon to Expire Mailbox Accounts report:

• From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Mailbox.

• Under Account Status Reports, click on Soon to Expire Mailbox Accounts.

• Under Filter, in the No. of days field, enter the expiration period and click Go.

• If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list.
