4.3.5. Department-wise Mailbox Traffic Reports

Reports under this category display traffic details of different departments. The details include the number and size of messages sent and received by an individual department during a selected time period.  

Various reports listed under Department-wise Mailbox Traffic Reports are:

• Number of Messages Sent
• Size of Messages Sent
• Number of Messages Received
• Size of Messages Received

 

1. Number of Messages Sent

This report list the department name and the number of internal and external messages sent by it during a selected time period. It also shows the top 10 departments based on the total number of messages sent.

To view Number of Messages Sent report:

• From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Email Traffic.

• Under Department-wise Mailbox Traffic, click on Number of Messages Sent.

• Under Filter, in the Period field, select the time period from the drop down options and click Go.

• If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list.

 

2. Size of Messages Sent

This report list the department name and the size of internal and external messages sent by it during a selected time period. It also shows the top 10 departments based on the total size of messages sent.

To view Size of Messages Sent report:

• From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Email Traffic.

• Under Department-wise Mailbox Traffic, click on Size of Messages Sent.

• Under Filter, in the Period field, select the time period from the drop down options and click Go.

• If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list.

 

3. Number of Messages Received

This report list the department name and the number of internal and external messages received by it during a selected time period. It also shows the top 10 departments based on the total number of messages received.

To view Number of Messages Received report:

• From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Email Traffic.

• Under Department-wise Mailbox Traffic, click on Number of Messages Received.
