If free trial version of Stellar Data Recovery software is showing preview of a file, its paid version should definitely be able to recover the file.
However, this may happen if scan was performed with a different version of the software or different scanning options were used in demo version. There is no difference in the functionality of the demo and paid version as same software is activated with the activation key.
