A disk image is a file that contains the data and structure of a disk volume or an entire storage device, such as a hard disk, SSD, etc.

I have downloaded the demo version of Stellar Data Recovery and when on the "Recover From" screen, I do not see the "Recover from Disk Images" option. The only option I can see under "Other locations" is "RAID Recovery". I have a disk image created by a different program that I would like to recover data from.

Hi,
We would like to inform you that you may recover the data from the Disk image. You will need to click the menu button to access the menu options and select Recover from Disk Image. However, images should be created from Stellar software only.
