How to recover deleted Mac HFS or HFS+ partitions

Mac partition recovery process with Stellar Phoenix Mac data recovery is as follow: 

  1. Download and launch the software. From the main interface, select the data type you want to recover. Click Next.
  2. Under Select Location interface, choose ‘Can’t Find Volume’.
  3. A separate location window will pop-up. Here, select your hard drive (Note: Make sure you select the disk at the hard drive level and not the partition level). Next, click Search to locate lost or deleted Mac volumes or partition.
  4. After successful completion of the process, the software will list all the recovered volumes or partition with the naming of the found volumes as Lost Volume 1, 2 etc.
  5. From here, Select your Volume and click Scan.
  6. Next, from the list of the recoverable files and folders, choose the desired and launch their Preview.
  7. Finally, select all the files that you need to save and click Recover.
