How to Resolve ‘AutoDiscover’ Error?

Stellar Converter for EDB can export mailbox data from offline EDB file to Live Exchange or Office 365 account directly. You can choose to export selected or all mailbox items to a live Exchange server by entering valid administrator credentials. 

The software uses these credentials to authenticate and connect to live Exchange. Once the connection is established, the software AutoMap the mailboxes with user accounts. It also allows you to manually map users with their mailboxes.

However, sometimes, the software encounters problems while connecting to a live Exchange server due to various reasons, such as invalid admin credentials. When the connection to live Exchange is not established, Stellar Converter for EDB may display an ‘AutoDiscover’ error, indicating that the connection to live Exchange has failed.

To avoid ‘AutoDiscover’ error during mailbox export from EDB file to Live Exchange server by using Stellar Converter for EDB, you must verify the following:

  1. You have entered the correct admin credentials i.e., email ID and password.
  2. You are able to connect to the Exchange server if you configure the email ID in Outlook.
  3. You have used the same administrator (a member of the ‘Domain Admins’ group) credentials to log in to the computer and connect to the Destination MS Exchange server.
