Resolve IMAPISession: MAPI_E_UNKNOWN_FLAGS Error

IMAPISession: MAPI_E_UNKNOWN_FLAGS Error is encountered when a user is trying to export the mailboxes of an Exchange Database (EDB) file to Office 365. Refer to screenshot below

To avoid the error in Stellar Converter for EDB, take the following factors into consideration before exporting EDB-mailbox data to Office 365:

  1. Check that there is an active Office 365 account for which the data is to be exported.
  2. System used for exporting mailbox data should be a part of ‘Workgroup’. It should not be a part of any Exchange domain.
  3. Check that Outlook profile is not synced with an Exchange account. Remove the Outlook profile if it is synced with Exchange Server.
  4. Check that the Outlook profile is synced with Office 365 account.
