How can I update Stellar Data Recovery Professional for Mac?

There are two ways to update the Stellar Data Recovery Professional for Mac. One is to use the UPDATE wizard of the software to check and install the latest updates for the application.

 

Alternately, you can use the Check for Updates option under Preferences -> Others on the StellarDataRecovery menu.

 

To update the Stellar Data Recovery Professional for Mac:

 

1) Configure the update wizard to check for updates automatically:

 

a) Run StellarDataRecovery software.

b) On the StellarRecovery menu, click Preferences option and then click Update in the Preferences window. 

c) Click Check for updates option and specify the frequency to check for updates (like Daily, Weekly or Monthly).

 

To update an older version of Stellar Data Recovery Professional for Mac? (i.e. V8.0 and below), follow below steps:

 

2) To check for updates automatically: 

 

a) Run StellarDataRecovery software. The software displays the Update window in the main user interface.

b) To download the latest version, click on the Update button. It may take few seconds or minutes to download the updates. Once completed, 'Update successfully installed' message appears.

c) Click OK.

 

Or

 

3) To check for updates manually:

 

a) Click on Check for updates now button.

b) If updates are available, then the software displays the Update window. Follow the next step. Else, if no updates are available, the software displays a 'No updates are available' message.

c) Click the Update button to download the latest version. It may take few seconds to minutes to download the files. After completion, the 'Update successfully installed' message appears. Click OK.

When I opened you application, I get this message below. I have a MacBook Pro with macOS Catalina. All the instructions I get to update it is updating it while in the application. I cannot open the application. I am now contacting you per the message below. Please advise. Thank you

The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information."
