You can also check that the port mapping is configured correctly and the port number used to connect to MySQL is correct. The default port number is 3306. In addition, make sure that the firewalls are not blocking your database. The firewalls sometimes block the communication between MySQL database and the application.

      2. Initialization Error in MySQL with Docker

      Sometimes, the database cannot be initialized. This might happen if the volume is already mounted and there is a conflict when trying to initialize the script or modify the data. The volume is usually inaccessible. So, make sure to provide access to the volume.

      The Docker container by default disappears if the container stops. To avoid this problem, you can mount the Docker volume to MySQL Data Directory. Usually, the path is /var/lib/mysql. By doing this, the data directory will survive when the container restarts.
