Steps to recover deleted files from startup disk are as follows:

Select

  • Launch Stellar Data Recovery for Mac and select the type of files you need to recover.
  • Click Next, then select Macintosh HD, the startup disk, wherein you’ve deleted the files.
  • Click Scan. In the message box, click Next. Then, click Next again.
  • In System Extension Blocked dialog, click Open Security Preferences.
  • In Security & Privacy, click the Lock icon, enter the admin password, and click Unlock.
  • Click Allow to load the Stellar Data Recovery extension. Click the Lock icon again.
