The MS SQL Log Analyzer tool helps the user to view and read MS SQL transaction log without manual efforts. It scans the LDF and MDF files and displays a preview of the transactions performed on a database in a simplified manner. The preview comprises Transaction Type (Insert, Delete, Update, Create and Drop), and Transaction Time. Users can also preview complete query details of each transaction.
The SQL transaction log analyzer tool helps you get detailed information about the transactions written to the database. You can track manipulated data (Insert, Update, and Delete) in the database or any changes made to the database. With this tool, you can also analyze deleted/dropped table data without performing the full database restore process.
The SQL log file is saved in an unreadable format. With the help of SQL Log Analyzer tool, you can easily read all the transactions and view the data in the Preview pane. After previewing, you can save the transactions along with the data in a readable and sorted manner.
The MS SQL log analyzer tool scans a SQL database log (LDF) file and its associated MDF file. It displays a preview of data manipulation operations such as INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE and database DDL operations, such as CREATE and DROP. Also, it previews the Transaction Time, Transaction Type, and Query details. This feature helps perform forensic analysis of the records of all transactions written to the database.

The SQL Log File Analyzer tool allows saving deleted or dropped transactions to a new database. Thus, it enables users to auto-create a database with all the recovered items in a SQL database. The tool also provides the option to save the recovered data to an existing database connected to the server.
If MDF and LDF files are saved in the same location, the tool automatically detects the MDF file associated with the LDF file. However, if the files are stored at different locations, users can browse the location of the MDF file by using the Select MDF option. The SQL Server transaction log viewer tool also provides the 'Find' option to locate LDF files saved in your computer's drives, folders, or subfolders.

Users can search for a specific item by entering its name in the search bar when viewing log tables data and log transactions in the Preview window. The tool also offers Match Case and Match Whole Word options to narrow down the search and quickly find any particular items in large SQL Server LDF files.
The software provides an option to apply a date range filter to view and save log tables data and log transactions for a specified interval. This feature saves time and effort in viewing transactions for a specific point in time. It also generates a log report of the complete LDF and MDF file saving process, including details like start and end time of the saving process, selected database version, etc.
