How Treasurerock Recovered a Crashed QuickBooks Enterprise 2018 Database

Stellar® Repair for QuickBooks® Software successfully recovered a database after two unsuccessful recovery attempts and a failed QuickBooks File Doctor scan.

Introduction:

Treasurerock Technologies Ltd is a technology company based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Among other things, it helps businesses get their accounting systems back on their feet when something goes wrong. When a client's QuickBooks® Enterprise 2018 database crashed, two companies that presented themselves as data recovery specialists tried to fix it, and both failed. Treasurerock stepped in and proposed Stellar® Repair for QuickBooks® Software. The database was recovered, and the client described the result as a miracle.

“

Statement from the customer:

Two recovery companies had already failed on this QuickBooks Enterprise 2018 database. We proposed Stellar® Repair for QuickBooks® Software, the database was recovered, and our client called it a miracle.

”

Impact on the Business:

Database Inaccessible: The crashed QuickBooks® Enterprise 2018 database could not be used, leaving the client without access to its accounting records.
Previous Recovery Attempts Had Failed: Two data recovery companies had already tried to recover the file, but neither could solve the problem, leaving the client with very few options.
Standard Tools Didn’t Help: Even QuickBooks® File Doctor couldn’t resolve the issue, making the recovery process more challenging.
Risk of Abandoning QuickBooks®: With every attempt failing, the client was prepared to drop QuickBooks® altogether and move to a different accounting software.

Attempted Solutions:

Before Stellar® Repair for QuickBooks® Software was brought in, the following were tried:

Two Data Recovery Companies: Both claimed the expertise to recover QuickBooks® databases. Neither was able to restore the crashed Enterprise 2018 file.
QuickBooks® File Doctor: Treasurerock ran Intuit's own repair utility on the database. It did not work.

Solution and Benefits:

Treasurerock proposed Stellar® Repair for QuickBooks® Software to the client, and it was applied to the crashed database.

Database Recovered: The QuickBooks® Enterprise 2018 database that two companies and File Doctor could not repair was successfully recovered.
QuickBooks® Retained: The client, who had been ready to leave QuickBooks® for other software, kept its existing accounting system.
Credibility Restored: Treasurerock resolved the problem where others had failed, and the client's own word for the outcome was "a miracle."
A Service Worth Promoting: Treasurerock was confident enough in the result to advertise its QuickBooks® database recovery service openly to the Chartered Accountant Forum.

Conclusion:

A crashed QuickBooks® Enterprise 2018 database, two unsuccessful recovery attempts, and a File Doctor scan that failed to help had left Treasurerock’s client ready to give up on QuickBooks® altogether. Just when things seemed hopeless, Stellar® Repair for QuickBooks® Software recovered the database, succeeding where the other solutions had failed. The client was so relieved that they called it a miracle.

For IT service providers who support accounting software, the takeaway is simple. When Intuit’s built-in tools can’t fix the problem and other recovery companies come up empty, a dedicated QuickBooks® repair solution can make all the difference. It can help recover critical financial data, save clients from the stress of starting over, and restore their confidence in the software they rely on every day.

The Challenge

The client's QuickBooks® Enterprise 2018 database crashed and became unusable. For a business that runs its books on QuickBooks®, that means everything stops. Nobody can see what has been invoiced, what has been paid, or what is still owed.

The client first approached two companies that claimed to be data recovery specialists. Neither could recover the database. By the time Treasurerock was brought in, the client had already spent time and money with nothing to show for it, and its confidence in the software was wearing thin.

Treasurerock tried QuickBooks® File Doctor first, as most technicians would. It did not resolve the problem. A different approach was needed.
