PST File Still Missing Even after completing whole OST to PST Conversion Process?

 Modified on: September 28, 2018 |    7027 views

The use of an OST to PST converter comes into the picture during Exchange Server downtime or in similar situations where you do not have access to your mailbox. Stellar Converter for OST is a handy tool that can help you get over these problems almost instantly by converting your Outlook Offline Storage (OST) files to Personal Folders (PST) files. The software can safely convert and restore all the mail items in your OST file to a new PST file, including emails, attachments, contacts, calendar entries, notes, journal, and tasks. You can choose to save individual messages either as 'EML' or 'MSG' files at the desired location in your system.

You can select any folder on your local drive or on a network-attached storage device as the destination to save the new PST, EML, or MSG files. You can view the contents of EML and MSG files directly by double-clicking them. For EML files, you should have Outlook Express preinstalled on your computer. However, you will need to import the new PST into MS Outlook for accessing the converted emails and other items. To do so, follow the given steps:

  • Open MS Outlook.
  • Go to 'File', click 'Open', and then 'Outlook Data File'.
  • Choose the Outlook Personal Folders (PST) file you want to import and click 'OK'.

Once the process is finished, Outlook will create a new personal folder (PST).

Hi David,

We are extremely sorry for the trouble, but it would be great if you can describe your query in detail, because we are not very much sure about the issue.

Thanks
