How to Fix “Unable to Establish the Connection” ODBC Error

 Modified on: September 21, 2022 |    2605 views

The “Unable to establish the connection” ODBC error message appears when the “Stellar Repair for MySQL” can’t establish a connection with the destination server due to a problem with the ODBC drivers.

If you are encountering this error, follow these steps to resolve the issue and save your repaired MySQL database to the destination server.

Step 1: Check and ensure whether the destination system or server has ODBC drivers installed.

Step 2: If the destination server does not have ODBC drivers installed, install the 32-bit ODBC drivers. You can use the following links to download the ODBC drivers.

Step 3: If the destination server has 64-bit ODBC drivers installed, make sure to install the 32-bit ODBC drivers alongside as the software requires 32-bit ODBC drivers to work.

Once the required 32-bit ODBC drivers are installed, you can use the Stellar Repair for MySQL to save the repaired database to the destination server without encountering the “unable to establish the connection” error.
