The need to search for a particular mail arises when there are thousands of mails in your Inbox. There is always a manual technique to search for a particular mail by looking at each and every mail. However, such a technique is inefficient and time consuming.

Stellar Mailbox Extractor for Exchange Server allows you to search particular mail items from the converted file. The software supports searching of mail items on the basis of To, From, Cc, Subject, Body, Attachment Name, Importance, and Item Type fields from a single EDB file at a time.

Once you have provided the searching parameters, you can choose any desired matching preferences like ‘Any Criteria’, ‘Exact Match’, and ‘Both’ to customize the search result.

To search for particular mails from the converted file using Stellar Mailbox Extractor for Exchange Server, you need to follow the below mentioned steps.

1. Launch ‘Stellar Mailbox Extractor for Exchange Server’.

2. The main interface of the software is displayed, asking you to choose any of the two conversion modes: Offline EDB and  Online Exchange. Alternatively, you can also select an EDB file by clicking on the ‘Select EDB’ option from the File menu.

3. Once you have selected and scanned the EDB file, the interface displays a list of the users and their respective mailboxes.

Note: You can choose multiple EDB files at a time. However, you need to select only one EDB file while searching for particular mails.

4. From the Preview window, click on ‘Search Criteria’ tab. Alternatively; you can also search for particular mails by clicking on the ‘Search Message’ option on the File menu.
5. The ‘Search Criteria’ tab has various searching fields including To, From, Cc, Subject, Body, Attachment Name, Importance, and Item Type. Enter the desired search conditions and click ‘Search’ on the bottom of the page.

6.    The corresponding search result is displayed under the ‘Result’ tab. You can further customize the search result by switching between Any Criteria, Exact Match, and Both options.
