What is new in the latest Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery?

Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery 8 has been completely revamped - it’s bigger and better now. We have carefully gone through every customer feedback to ensure that the newer version of the software is more powerful and easier to use. New features have been introduced in both Windows and Mac versions.

What’s new in the Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery Windows version

The first thing you will notice in the Windows version is the new and advanced interface which makes it even easier to recover lost or deleted photos. Apart from that, improved support for Unicode and FAT32, ExFAT and NTFS systems has been added to the software. With the new Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery, you can recover photos or videos with their original time stamps and all the necessary metadata. Users can also add and edit headers of the files.

Here are all the new features introduced in Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery Windows:

What’s new in the Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery Mac version

The Mac version hasn’t been left behind either. Many exciting new features have been added to the new version of Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery. The revamped version now supports macOS High Sierra, macOS Sierra, El Capitan, Unicode, and encrypted drives too. There is also support for new file systems including HFS+, FAT32, ExFAT, and NTFS. And, the interface has been completed rebranded and simplified as well.

Hi,
I'm recommending your software to my brother who has lost 8 Terabytes of pictures. Mostly CR2 files and Photoshop files. I do not see them supported in your software. Can he retreive CR2 and PSD files?

Hello Frank,

As you can see on the below screenshot (open URL), software has inbuilt capability to scan and recover CR2 file formats. Along with this, software also scans and recover PSD files created using any latest Photoshop versions.

I definitely believe that this software will certainly recover CR2 and PSD files and you may freely recommend it to your brother.

Hello, I use Canon S95 camera. I can only see all file names in SD card but cannot copy out to computer. Also cannot read the image in any camera or computer. Could this software helps? Please advise. Thank you. (I don't know what is CR2 /CRW)...

Hello Sam,

The software will be of helpful if your SD card is recognized by the Software. For this, you can download the "Free Trial" version of our software and see further.
By the way, I can guess either there might be some incompatibility issue between the memory card and the computer or you can also recheck the connection between your SD card and computer. You can alternatively try direct SD card slot/USB cable/card reader to get your card read by the computer. CR2 /CRW are Raw file format and are supported by exclusively Canon Camera models.
