When you run the software, it initializes and lets you proceed with the data recovery. However rarely, but there may be times when you find the software stuck on the initializing screen. This usually happens when there are some external storage media, connected to your drive, conflicting with the software.
We’d suggest you remove any external media, be it an SD card, USB drive, hard drive, etc., and then try running the software again. It would sort out the issue and allow you to recover files seamlessly.

Hi Stellar
This happened to me on initializing and unplugging the drive got the software up and running ok, but then when I replug the drive the 'next' button greys out and the software freezes again.
The drive is spinning and is recognised by windows, and prompts for an error scan (which also freezes)
Any ideas?
Thanks.
