After scanning my external hard, the raw data folder can be recovered to a location, but I can not open all the file with extensions as ARJ, FLC, QDF and RPM, est. What should I do to open all those files? Does this mean the hard drive has been recoveries?

I have found the same issue as the person who commented above ... after scanning my ext HD, I cannot open the files with extensions FLC, PGM and DVM. Im testing this software to recover files from my formatted drive, but I just get FLC files and are no able to open. I want to know if this really work before buying it.
